On March 6th, our hospital's aviation rescue team received a notification of an aviation transfer mission: a severely burned patient needs to be urgently transferred to a higher-level hospital for further treatment. After preliminary investigation, the patient is a 50 year old male who suffered from severe burns due to an accident. The diagnosis is extensive burns throughout the body, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and multiple organ failure. The patient's condition is critical. After professional evaluation by the aviation rescue team, it has been decided to send experienced medical personnel for air transportation to carry out the task. To ensure efficient and high-quality completion of tasks, our hospital's aviation rescue team members, Deputy Chief Physician Li Zhengzhao and Nurse Feng Guangyao, immediately began preparing for the aviation medical transfer upon receiving instructions.

They returned to Nanning at 15:37 and arrived at the treatment hospital smoothly at 16:38.
This mission is the first helicopter transfer of severe burns in our district. The successful transfer of this case not only fully reflects the fast and efficient transfer advantages of aviation rescue helicopters, but also accumulates valuable experience for the transportation and treatment of severe burn patients in our district's aviation rescue. At the same time, it actively explores experience for our hospital's aviation rescue in coordinating with government departments to handle emergency public health incidents caused by explosive injuries, It is of great significance to improve the disaster rescue capabilities of the aviation emergency medical rescue team in our region. In the future, our aviation rescue team will continue to adhere to the concept of "time is life", strive for more valuable rescue time for critically ill patients, and provide more high-quality and convenient medical services for the people in the region.
